We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Accountant to join a growing and fast-paced business. This role will play a key part in supporting strategic decision-making through the delivery of accurate financial analysis, commercial insight, and business partnering across multiple departments. The successful candidate will be commercially minded, analytically strong, and confident working closely with operational stakeholders to improve performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Provide commercial analysis to support business decision-making
  • Partner with operational and departmental managers to review performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Produce variance analysis and commentary for senior management
  • Support cash flow forecasting and financial modelling activities
  • Ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and compliant with company procedures
  • Assist with year-end processes and audit preparation
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function
  • Support ad hoc commercial projects and reporting requirements

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience producing management accounts and commercial reporting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
