A growing international luxury design and manufacturing business with operations across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, the Caribbean and the USA is seeking a hands-on Management Accountant to join its London-based finance team. This role offers broad exposure across financial control, international operations, payroll, compliance and reporting, with a clear progression path towards Financial Controller level.

The Role

  • Working closely with the Finance Director, responsibilities will include:
  • Financial Control
    • Month-end close
    • Bank, debtor and creditor reconciliations
    • Maintaining accurate financial records
    • Supporting financial reporting and controls
  • Cashflow & Working Capital
    • Managing AR and AP cycles
    • Weekly cashflow tracking
    • Supporting forecasting and payment scheduling
  • Payroll
    • Managing UK payroll and HMRC submissions
    • Coordinating international payroll through EOR providers
    • Supporting US payroll processes
  • Compliance & Governance
    • Managing finance and compliance deadlines across UK and international entities
    • Supporting VAT, corporation tax and Companies House filings
    • Maintaining finance and compliance calendars
    • Coordinating with external advisors
  • Team Oversight
    • Supervising a junior finance team member
    • Ensuring finance processes are completed accurately and on time

About You

  • Strong attention to detail and organisation
  • Proactive with a high level of ownership
  • Comfortable operating across multiple entities and jurisdictions
  • Confident managing priorities and improving processes
  • Strong UK accounting and tax knowledge

Experience

  • Experience in a Management Accountant, Finance Manager or similar role
  • Multi-entity experience preferred
  • Exposure to international payroll or EOR structures advantageous
  • Strong Excel and finance systems capability
