Are you an ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified accountant looking for a hybrid FP&A commercial analyst? We are seeking a commercially minded and qualified finance professional to support financial performance, revenue and cost management across the business. This role will play a key part in both retrospective performance analysis and forward-looking forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.

Working closely with the Head of Finance and operational stakeholders, you will provide meaningful financial insight that drives performance improvement and supports business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and reforecasts in line with Group reporting requirements.
  • Analyse business performance and identify key drivers impacting financial and operational results.
  • Partner with business leaders and operational teams to drive performance improvements and cost efficiencies.
  • Produce and monitor financial and non-financial KPI reporting for key stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Support the month-end and period-end close process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Deliver insightful analysis to ensure senior management and the Board have a clear understanding of financial and operational performance.
  • Utilise existing systems and reporting tools to enhance data analytics capabilities and improve management information.
  • Develop and expand performance reporting frameworks to support informed decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders across the business.
Skills & Experience
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
  • Strong experience in management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to interpret financial and operational data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Experience producing KPI reporting and performance analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
