What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver accurate monthly management accounts
  • Own balance sheet reconciliations & journal postings
  • Produce insightful reporting & variance analysis
  • Support month-end and year-end processes
  • Prepare VAT returns and assist with audits
  • Oversee AP/AR ledgers and payment runs
  • Partner with non-finance teams across the business
  • Mentor and guide junior finance staff
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies

What We're Looking For

  • AAT Level 4 qualified (or QBE)
  • Experience as an Assistant Management Accountant (or similar)
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP)
  • Experience in a medium/large business environment
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder skills
  • Proactive, organised, and improvement-focused
  • Previous team management or mentoring experience is a bonus
