A well-established organisation is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join its finance team in Warrington. This is a varied, hands-on role offering excellent exposure across stock, reconciliations, reporting and month-end processes, working closely with an experienced Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of the stock take process and related reporting
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Support with month-end and year-end close
- Balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
- Fixed asset reporting
- Tax pack preparation and reporting
- Review and preparation of expense claims for approval
- Sales and refund reporting
- Provide cover for accounts payable and cash management
- Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc duties as required
