Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed manufacturing organisation on the Wirral who are seeking to appoint an experienced Commercial Finance Manager to join their leadership team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that has achieved consistent double-digit growth over recent years and continues to invest heavily in its future expansion plans. Based on the Wirral you will play a pivotal role in supporting commercial decision-making across the business, partnering closely with Sales, Commercial and Operational stakeholders.

Job Duties:

  • Act as a trusted finance business partner to Commercial, Sales and Operational teams.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Prepare insightful variance analysis and reporting on key financial and operational metrics.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business cases, investment decisions and scenario planning.
  • Monitor and analyse KPIs, providing actionable recommendations to drive performance.
  • Drive margin improvement initiatives and cost optimisation projects across the business.
  • Support strategic projects and business improvement initiatives as the company continues its growth journey.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes and financial controls across the organisation.

Ideal Experience:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Previous experience within a commercial finance or finance business partnering role.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using financial reporting systems.
  • Experience gained within manufacturing, FMCG or a related commercial environment would be advantageous.
