Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturing company based in Winsford to recruit a Management Accountant. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts, forecasting and financial analysis. The successful candidate will partner with key stakeholders, supporting the organisation's financial operations and decision-making.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and rolling forecasts.
- Developing strategic plans, budgets, and financial forecasts.
- Assisting with daily cash reporting, including bank reconciliations.
- Raising sales invoices across multiple revenue streams and ensuring reconciliations are accurate and up to date.
- Supporting the annual audit process and resolving any queries.
- Setting up payments, including accounts payable and weekly payroll, for authorisation.
- Conducting credit checks on prospective customers to minimise risk.
- Leading and contributing to ad hoc projects as required.
Qualifications:
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified.
- Strong excel and analytical skills.
- Confident in dealing with non-financial stakeholders.
