An established and growing organisation within the manufacturing sector is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Assistant / Finance Technician to join its finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership of core finance processes while supporting wider business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance Manager with month-end processes, cashflow forecasting, and annual budgeting.
- Assist with external audits.
- Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Carry out credit control activities and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Perform bank reconciliations and oversee petty cash.
- Reconcile stock ledger with the general ledger.
- Produce and manage VAT returns, Intrastat, EC sales reports, and excise duties.
- Maintain accruals and prepayments.
- Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
- Review and process monthly expenses.
About You:
- AAT qualified (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar finance role.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
