An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified Management Accountant to join a well-established global organisation with a strong operational footprint and headquarters in Liverpool city centre. The Role

Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality management accounting and operational financial support. The role has a strong costing and analysis focus and works closely with operational and technical teams both in the UK and internationally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing monthly management accounts, including cost reviews, accruals, prepayments and variance analysis against budget and forecast.
  • Preparing clear, concise commentary to explain financial performance and drivers.
  • Building strong working relationships with operational and technical stakeholders.
  • Supporting balance sheet integrity through ownership of reconciliations for accruals, prepayments and inventory.
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure accurate recording and reporting of operational costs.
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting activity in collaboration with international finance teams.
  • Assisting with quarterly and year-end reporting requirements.
  • Providing guidance and support to junior finance colleagues where required.
