Management Accountant in Frodsham

Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a growing, UK based, Engineering business who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their finance team based near Helsby.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced CIMA / ACCA studier who is at least half way through their exams or a qualified accountant looking for an oppoetunity to join an exciting and successful business with ambitious growth plans.

Salary/benefits:

• £40-50,000pa
• Office based
• 5 hour week

Job Duties:

• Production of monthly management accounts for various businesses including detailed variance analysis and commentary on financial and operational performance of the business
• Supporting the Year-end and the Audit process for the various Group companies
• Supporting the finance team in the submission of financial models to the banks
• Invoice processing on sales and purchase ledgers
• VAT returns submissions and dealing with HMRC queries
• Bank reconciliations and cashflow forecasting
• Supporting the team in annual budgeting and P & L forecasting process
• Communication with suppliers, customers, lenders, and key stakeholders

Ideal experience

• ACCA / CIMA part qualified or qualified
• Good team player
• Query solving/problem resolution skills
• Strong communication skills both with peers and senior management
• Flexibility
• Experience of Sage Line 50
• Advanced Excel user
