Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a growing, privately-owned construction business in the search for a nearly/newly Qualified Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner to join their finance team. Following a recent period of transformation and investment, the business is entering an exciting new chapter and is looking for a commercially-minded finance professional who wants to make a genuine impact. This is far more than a traditional reporting role. You'll work closely with senior leadership, providing key financial insight, supporting strategic decision-making, and helping drive improvements across finance and operational processes.
The Role
- Production of monthly management accounts and board reporting
- Cash flow forecasting and working capital management
- Financial analysis and performance reporting across projects and business units
- Finance Business Partnering with operational and commercial teams to drive commercial insights and support decision-making
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function
- Developing and strengthening financial controls and processes
- Providing commercial insight to support future growth plans
About You
- We're looking for an ambitious and proactive finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Part-Qualified / or Newly Qualified CIMA/ACCA
- Previous experience within the construction sector is desirable
- Strong management accounting and business partnering experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- A commercial mindset and hands-on approach
- The confidence to challenge, influence and drive positive change
