A growing and well-established multi-site business is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional looking to take ownership of a varied role within a dynamic and expanding organisation. This position offers exposure to both core management accounting responsibilities and wider finance projects, making it ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, strengthening controls and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, journals and reconciliations
- Maintain and improve financial controls across multiple entities
- Manage fixed asset registers and capital expenditure schedules
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and cash flow reporting
- Investigate and resolve balance sheet and intercompany reconciliation issues
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision making
- Support year-end processes and liaise with external advisers
- Contribute to finance system improvements and process efficiencies
- Assist with the integration of acquisitions and new business activities
Ideal Experience
- AAT qualified, part-qualified or qualified ACCA/CIMA, or qualified by experience
- Strong management accounting background
- Experience producing month-end accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
- Budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis experience
- Advanced Excel and strong accounting systems knowledge
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive approach with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
