Group Finance Controller Chester | Hybrid Working (3 days in the office) | Temp to Perm | £70,000 - £75,000 Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a successful and growing Chester-based business in the appointment of a Group Finance Controller on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a dynamic organisation at a key stage of its growth journey. Working closely with the Group Finance Director, you'll take ownership of the finance function, lead a capable team and play a key role in improving controls, reporting and commercial decision-making across the group. The Role As Group Finance Controller, you will: Lead and develop the finance team across the business Take ownership of monthly management accounts and group reporting Ensure robust financial controls, compliance and governance Manage cashflow, forecasting and budgeting processes Partner with operational stakeholders across the organisation Drive improvements to financial systems, processes and reporting Support strategic projects and business growth initiatives Act as a key deputy to the Group Finance Director

About You We're looking for: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant Previous experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership role Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise Proven experience managing and developing finance teams Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills Available at short notice or immediately available
