Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a large, complex organisation to appoint an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner on an initial 6 month contract. This role will see you embedded within a senior Technology leadership function, acting as a true partner rather than a central observer, helping to stabilise the financial baseline and strengthen the technology finance operating model ahead of FY27 and beyond. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned interim Finance Business Partner who is confident working with Senior leadership up to Exec level. A strong knowledge of systems and data is also essential to create clear financial insight.
Salary / benefits

Job Duties
- Act as a finance co-pilot embedded within the Technology leadership function.
- Translate technology, cyber, data and OT activity into credible, board-level financial language.
- Stabilise the financial baseline and technology finance operating system, including run vs change, tech debt and major programmes.
- Support Executive and Board papers with robust numbers, options and clearly articulated trade-offs.
- Provide Capex vs Opex modelling and insight across technology portfolios.
- Quantify and articulate technology debt and long-term financial impact.
- Support benefits realisation, value tracking and investment decision-making.
- Build business cases via scenario modelling.
- Create clear 1-page financial narratives from complex detail.
- Challenge both Finance and Technology leaders constructively, bringing pace and momentum.
- Leave the function stronger, clearer and better equipped after the contract period.

Ideal Experience
- Proven interim Finance Business Partner experience (not a first-time contractor).
- Previous experience supporting senior Technology or Transformation leaders (CIO / CTIO / CDO level).
- Background in complex, asset-heavy environments such as infrastructure, logistics, utilities, manufacturing, energy or transport.
- Strong commercial and investment mindset with confidence operating at Exec level.
- Demonstrated experience with Capex vs Opex modelling and run / change / grow cost structures.
- Proven ability to quantify technology debt and track benefits realisation.
- Comfortable working in imperfect data environments and creating clarity at speed.
- Advanced financial modelling capability with the ability to build insights and recommendations quickly.
- Highly credible communicator with strong executive storytelling skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident challenging senior Finance and Technology stakeholders constructively.
