Audit Semi-Senior
Responsibilities: Assisting with audit assignments from initial planning through to completion.
Completing audit testing across a range of financial statement areas.
Preparing accurate and well-documented audit working papers.
Identifying potential audit issues and discussing these with senior colleagues.
Liaising with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts.
Working closely with Audit Seniors, Managers and Partners.
Helping to guide and support more junior members of the audit team.
Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
Developing your technical knowledge through practical experience and professional studies.
Audit Semi-Senior
Attributes: Previous external audit experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.
AAT qualified or studying towards ACA or ACCA.
Experience assisting with audit assignments across different stages of the audit cycle.
A good understanding of UK accounting and auditing standards.
Confident communicating with clients and working as part of an audit team.
Organised and able to manage competing assignments and deadlines.
Comfortable using audit and accounting software.
Keen to develop technically and progress into an Audit Senior position.
