Accountant Location: Knowsley, Liverpool Salary: £30-£35,000 Type: Full-time, Permanent, hybrid working The Opportunity An established and growing organisation within the manufacturing sector is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership of core finance processes while supporting wider business operations. Key Responsibilities: Support the Finance Manager with - Month-end processes Cashflow forecasting Annual budgeting Assist with external audits Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Carry out credit control activities and maintain strong customer relationships Perform bank reconciliations and oversee petty cash Reconcile stock ledger with the general ledger Produce and manage VAT returns, Intrastat, EC sales reports, and excise duties Maintain accruals and prepayments Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules Review and process monthly expenses About You AAT qualified (or equivalent) Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar finance role Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable Skills & Attributes Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Excellent time management and organisational skills Strong communication skills Ability to build effective relationships across departments What's on Offer Competitive salary package Stable and supportive working environment Opportunity to develop within a well-established business TPBN1_UKTJ
