Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a North West based organisation who are seeking to appoint an experienced Project Accountant on an interim basis until the end of March.
Based in Knowsley, you will work a hybrid model after the initial months.
This opportunity is ideal for an immediately available Accountant with strong systems and project management experience, who can also support BAU financial reporting, year-end and audit during a period of systems migration.
Salary / benefits:
Circa £400 per day
Contract until end of March

Job duties:
- Act as Project Manager for the finance systems migration, coordinating requests and managing stakeholders
- Support data migration including reconciliations, data cleansing and BAU systems work
- Work across multiple legacy systems, designing solutions and supporting the rollout to users
- Maintain financial reporting during the transition, including supporting statutory reporting, year-end and audit preparation
- Provide input on VAT, CIS and tax as needed

Ideal experience:
- Immediately available
- Strong reporting and project management background
- Technically minded; experience working across multiple systems desirable
- VAT & CIS exposure would be beneficial
