The Opportunity
As Head of Finance, you'll take full ownership of the finance function for a growing business unit, acting as a key commercial partner to both operational leadership and Group Finance.
You'll lead from the front - setting standards, driving performance, and creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Managing a team of five across transactional finance and management accounts, you'll play a key role in developing talent and building a forward-thinking, high-performing function.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a team across AP, AR, Credit Control and Management Accounts
- Own the month-end process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Partner with Group Finance to align reporting, controls and best practice
- Drive improvements across systems, processes and financial controls
- Oversee management accounts and support commercial reporting
- Introduce and monitor KPIs to drive both team and business performance
- Provide insight, challenge and support to senior stakeholders
- Create an ambitious, high-performance culture aligned to business growth
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Experienced in managing and developing teams
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
- Commercially minded with the confidence to challenge and influence
- Proactive, hands-on, and driven to continuously improve
