We are seeking a qualified Tax Accountant to join a Statutory Accounting team within a growing international business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant with a solid background in both statutory reporting and tax.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and review of statutory accounts across multiple entities.
  • Review of monthly P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements.
  • Management of tax compliance activities, including VAT, tax computations, filings and declarations.
  • Ownership of deferred tax calculations and support with R&D tax claims.
  • Liaison with external auditors and review of audit and tax deliverables.
  • Support international tax compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Manage and develop a small team of two finance professionals.

About You

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant.
  • Ideally 3+ years PQE.
  • Strong statutory accounting and audit experience.
  • Confident with tax matters including tax computations, deferred tax and VAT compliance.
  • Experience reviewing financial statements and working with external auditors.
  • Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
  • International tax exposure would be advantageous.
