We're recruiting a hands-on Group Management Accountant for a growing organisation that's investing in its finance function and future leadership. This role is ideal for someone who's technically strong, commercially curious, and genuinely motivated by progression. You'll start in a delivery-focused role and steadily move into review, leadership, and Financial Controller-level responsibility.

The Opportunity

You'll take ownership of the management accounts process, working closely with senior finance leaders to improve reporting, strengthen controls, and add meaningful insight to the business. There's real scope here to make improvements, shape processes, and develop people - with a clear pathway into a Financial Controller role over the next couple of years.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts
  • Owning balance sheets, journals, and month-end close
  • Providing clear commentary on performance, budgets, and variances
  • Supporting audit and compliance processes
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders and budget holders
  • Mentoring junior team members, moving into line management over time

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Strong management accounts experience
  • Confident, hands-on, and comfortable improving processes
  • Ambitious and keen to progress into a Financial Controller role
  • Background from practice or a strong industry environment
