We’re exclusively partnering with a thriving business based in the heart of Liverpool to find a Financial Controller who can bring both structure and strategic insight to a changing business and finance function. This is more than just a Financial Controller role; you will be an integral part of shaping how the business looks and be at the forefront of upcoming project work.

Your role as Group Financial Controller:

  • Lead the statutory financial statements for all group and subsidiaries
  • Liaise with auditors
  • Detailed Tax knowledge to assist business with all Tax matters
  • Work with SLT on all business strategies and market development
  • Work with CFO on decision making
  • Collaborate with wider finance team to streamline and enhance processes
  • Manage and develop Financial Reporting team
  • Continuously improve financial reporting system to enhance efficiency
  • Assist project team on implementation of new ERP system

What We’re Looking For:

  • ACA-qualified (Top 5 audit firm experience preferred)
  • Strong background in tax compliance and planning, alongside robust technical accounting expertise
  • Proven experience managing and developing finance teams
  • Commercially astute with excellent attention to detail
