Financial Controller- Exciting Opportunity in the Construction / Property Sector

Are you an experienced finance professional looking for your next challenge? A well-established company in the Construction / Property industry is seeking a skilled Financial Controller to take ownership of financial operations and drive business success.
The Role
Reporting to the MD, as Financial Controller you will play a key role in financial planning, reporting, and analysis. You will oversee the full finance function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Your expertise will support strategic decision-making and financial stability.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheets, and variance analysis.
- Oversee sales and purchase ledger operations, ensuring smooth financial processes.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and budgeting to maintain financial health.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
- Provide financial insights to senior management to support growth and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, reporting standards, and regulations.
- Work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA is desirable
- Solid experience in management accounts and cash flow forecasting.
- Proven leadership skills, including managing finance teams.
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial data to senior stakeholders.
- Construction / Property / CIS experience is an advantage
