Finance Manager – Liverpool (City Centre)
Full Time | Permanent | £45,000 DOE + Benefits

Are you a hands-on Finance Manager looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? An exciting opportunity has arisen with a specialist construction business based in the heart of Liverpool.

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join the team and take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations and month-end processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support project analysis and cashflow forecasting

• Lead month-end processes and assist with year-end audit preparations

• Process and review purchase and sales invoices

• Manage payment runs, PO reconciliations, and cash allocation

• Handle bank reconciliations and employee expenses

• Provide general financial administration and ad hoc support

What We're Looking For:

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (essential)

• Experience with CIS returns and VAT rates for construction

• Prior experience working in a SME environment

• Familiarity with Sage X3

• Confident problem-solver with a can-do attitude

• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload and implement best practices
