Finance Manager – Liverpool (City Centre)
Full Time | Permanent | £45,000 DOE + Benefits
Are you a hands-on Finance Manager looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? An exciting opportunity has arisen with a specialist construction business based in the heart of Liverpool.
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join the team and take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations and month-end processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project analysis and cashflow forecasting
- Lead month-end processes and assist with year-end audit preparations

Process and review purchase and sales invoices

Manage payment runs, PO reconciliations, and cash allocation

Handle bank reconciliations and employee expenses

Provide general financial administration and ad hoc support
What We're Looking For:

Strong Microsoft Excel skills (essential)

Experience with CIS returns and VAT rates for construction
- Prior experience working in a SME environment

Familiarity with Sage X3

Confident problem-solver with a can-do attitude

Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload and implement best practices
