Finance Manager

An established construction business is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of its finance function.
Working closely with the Managing Director, you will provide financial oversight across the business, ensuring strong cash management, accurate reporting and effective financial controls. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is commercially minded and comfortable working independently.
Key Duties
- Lead and manage the overall finance function
- Prepare and monitor cash-flow forecasts, including short- and medium-term projections
- Manage banking relationships, funding arrangements and finance facilities
- Produce monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and financial analysis
- Provide senior management with clear financial and commercial insight
- Monitor project performance, margins, profitability and overheads
- Oversee debtor and creditor management, supplier payments and customer collections
