This role supports the FP&A team with key planning and analysis tasks. You’ll help hit deadlines, partner with departments, and dive into financial data across the business. You’ll work closely with teams in the Business Support Division, helping non-finance colleagues shape short- and mid-term financial plans. Overall, it’s a hands-on role that involves working with different teams to deliver accurate and timely financial info.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESThe role also includes supporting the timely and accurate preparation of financial data used for monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and multi-year planning. Cross-functional collaboration is essential to ensure seamless delivery of all financial information required.
- You will be responsible for delivering monthly Payroll actuals and providing insight into variances by individual, department, and division, ensuring this data feeds into forecasts and broader financial planning.
- Collaborate across the FP&A and wider Finance teams to support alignment of goals and standards.
- Proactively gather and analyse data to identify trends, ensuring timely escalation of key findings.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices and innovative working methods.
- Additionally, you will assist the Director of FP&A in compiling financial data, KPIs, budgets, and forecasts to support informed decision-making and maintain financial control.
- Strong academic background with high numerical proficiency.
- Excellent attention to detail while maintaining the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (training can be provided if needed).
- Strong multitasking and prioritisation abilities under pressure.
- Proven ability to collaborate and build strong working relationships across departments.
- Skilled in interpreting complex data sets and contributing to insight-driven recommendations.
