Job Description Are you an experienced Audit Manager looking for a role where you can take genuine ownership of your portfolio, develop a team and still have clear progression ahead of you? \n \n A highly respected accountancy practice is looking to appoint an Audit Manager to its growing Preston team. \n You'll take responsibility for managing a varied portfolio of audit clients, working closely with senior leadership while developing and mentoring the team around you. \n \nAudit Manager Responsibilities:\n \n \n Plan, manage and review audit assignments from initial planning through to completion \n Manage a varied portfolio of clients and build strong, long-term relationships \n Lead pre-audit meetings, identifying key business developments, risks and areas requiring additional focus \n Prepare and manage assignment budgets, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and commercially \n Review audit planning documentation and ensure assignments are appropriately resourced \n Allocate work across the team to support both effective delivery and individual development \n Review work completed by Seniors and Trainees, providing constructive feedback and technical guidance \n Manage, coach and develop junior members of the team, including appraisals and training records \n Monitor WIP, chargeable hours, budgets and overall job profitability \n Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies and client service \n Work collaboratively with colleagues across other service lines to provide a joined-up service to clients \n \n \nAudit Manager Requirements:\n \n \n ACA or ACCA qualified \n Strong audit experience gained within an accountancy practice \n Up-to-date knowledge of Auditing and Financial Reporting Standards \n Previous experience managing audit assignments and reviewing the work of others \n Confident managing client relationships and communicating with senior stakeholders \n Commercially aware with the ability to manage budgets, deadlines and resources \n Comfortable coaching and developing junior members of the team \n Able to identify efficiencies, improvements and opportunities for clients \n Ambitious, personable and keen to continue progressing within a growing firm \n \n \nAudit Manager Benefits:\n \n \n Hybrid working - up to 2 days working from home \n Flexible working with core hours of 10am-2pm \n 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays \n Option to buy or sell up to 5 additional holiday days \n Clear career development and succession planning \n Structured learning and development opportunities \n Employee recognition and performance awards \n Employee Assistance Programme, including confidential support, counselling and access to virtual doctors \n The backing, resources and opportunities that come with joining a large and established accountancy practice \n \n \n APPLY NOW........ \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
