Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturing company based in Wrexham to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner. Working with the site leadership team you will provide hands-on financial support and commercial insight across the business. This is a critical role requiring strong analytical capability, high-quality financial reporting, and the ability to influence operational and commercial decision-making. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating at both a strategic and detailed level, balancing business partnering with significant involvement in core finance activities such as reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to understand business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Influence decision-making through clear, concise financial analysis.
- Support the Management Team with regular performance updates and ad-hoc commercial analysis.
- Prepare, analyse and present monthly management accounts, including detailed variance analysis against budget and forecast.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, including annual budgets, periodic forecasts and long-range planning.
- Deliver accurate, timely reporting with clear commentary explaining financial performance and key trends.
- Identify performance improvement opportunities and contribute to cost control and margin enhancement initiatives.
- Produce and interpret detailed operational and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Analyse manufacturing and operational data to support productivity, efficiency and investment decisions.
- Ensure financial data is robust, well-controlled and aligned with group standards and requirements.
- Support evaluation of capital expenditure, investment proposals and business cases.
- Provide financial support for pricing, customer profitability and product margin analysis.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Supply Chain and Commercial functions.
Skills Required:
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified, or suitably qualified by experience.
- Manufacturing experience ideally within a multi-site, international environment.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate financial data to non-finance partners.
- Commercial and operational experience.
- Strong FP&A skills.
