We're looking for a Senior Management Accountant to support the delivery of high-quality, accurate and timely management information that drives effective commercial decision-making across a multi-site business within the UK.
Reporting to the Head of Management Accounting, you'll be comfortable taking ownership of key areas of the P&L, working closely with senior stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, audit requirements and key business initiatives, while also helping to improve financial processes and controls. This is an opportunity to really gain more responsibility and exposure in a fast-paced, growing business.
Key Responsibilities- Own and manage key areas of the P&L, providing meaningful performance insight
- Lead and oversee month-end reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and present management information to support commercial decision-making
- Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across finance and operations
- Support statutory reporting, audit and compliance activities
- Identify and drive process improvements within management accounting
- Coach and develop members of the management accounting team
- Experience in a management accounting or similar role, ideally within a large organisation
- Part-qualified CIMA or ACCA, with 3+ years' experience in a similar role
- Strong IT skills, particularly advanced Excel (Sage experience advantageous)
- Highly organised with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Commercially minded, with strong analytical and decision-support skills
