An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Performance & Systems Analyst to join a growing, forward-thinking organisation. This role sits at the intersection of finance, systems, and data, offering the chance to play a key part in driving insight, improving processes, and enhancing financial reporting capabilities.
Reporting into the Head of Financial Analysis, as Systems Accountant, you'll take ownership of financial planning systems while delivering high-quality reporting and analysis to support business decision-making. This is a highly collaborative role where you'll work closely with finance, data, and IT teams to ensure systems are optimised and financial information is accurate, accessible, and insightful.
- Own and manage financial planning systems, including Workday Adaptive Planning
- Maintain and enhance models, structures, and system performance
- Support integration across Workday ERP, Snowflake, and reporting tools
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and a Planning system
- Deliver insightful financial analysis, variance reporting, and performance tracking
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Drive automation and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual work
- Ensure strong data integrity, governance, and reconciliation
- Partner with stakeholders across finance and the wider business
- Provide training and support to users of finance systems and reporting tools
Experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or management accounting is required. Strong systems experience, ideally Workday Adaptive Planning (or similar), advanced Excel skills, and strong analytical capability are essential. Experience building reports in Power BI and knowledge of Workday ERP, Snowflake, or similar data platforms is also necessary. Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly are important. A professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) - qualified or studying is desirable.
