We are partnering with a growing organisation seeking a qualified Financial Controller with a strong background in financial controls, risk, and governance. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will lead the financial control framework, ensuring strong financial reporting integrity, effective risk management, and solid governance.

  • Lead and enhance the financial control framework, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting through robust, well-documented controls
  • Manage risk identification and mitigation, maintaining the finance risk register
  • Drive improvements across finance processes, identifying control gaps and inefficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements
  • Act as the key contact for internal and external audit, resolving findings effectively
  • Embed controls within systems and support finance transformation initiatives
  • Oversee treasury, payments, and banking controls, including approvals and access governance
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide insight and challenge on risk and control matters

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in financial control, audit, or risk within a complex environment.
