Accountable Recruitment are partnering with an industry leading business, based in Ellesmere Port to recruit a CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified Finance Manager. Reporting to the Group FC you will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts and analysis, leading on ad hoc projects, and supervising the transactional finance teams including sales and purchase ledger, and payroll.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager looking for a new challenge with a growing business, or an ambitious Management Accountant looking for career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly production of the Management Accounts including full analysis and commentary and supervision of the preparation of the Management Accounts for smaller subsidiaries prepared by the Assistant Management Accountant.
- Supervision of the Payroll processes completed by Payroll Clerk including overview of Time and Attendance System and Private Healthcare Scheme.
- Complete Bank reconciliations monthly for all Companies within the Group including Holding Companies as well as Petty Cash monthly reconciliations and custodial duties.
- Assist with preparation of annual Group Forecasts.
- Liaise with external accountants and assist with the annual financial audit process for the Group.
- Group ESG monthly monitoring and reporting.
- Complete any other ad hoc SQL reporting and other tasks as reasonably required.
Skills Required:
- Proven experience of working in a Finance Management role for minimum of 3 years.
- CIMA Qualified or equivalent.
- Experience of working with Sage Line 200.
- Experience with SQL and SQL Reporting.
- Experience with UK and EU Payroll Processing and Laws.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrate a proactive work ethic with ability to work independently.
- Able to organise and prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
