An established and growing organisation within the manufacturing sector is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Assistant / Finance Technician to join its finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership of core finance processes while supporting wider business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance Manager with month-end processes
- Cashflow forecasting
- Annual budgeting
- Assist with external audits
- Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Carry out credit control activities and maintain strong customer relationships
- Perform bank reconciliations and oversee petty cash
- Reconcile stock ledger with the general ledger
- Produce and manage VAT returns, Intrastat, EC sales reports, and excise duties
- Maintain accruals and prepayments
- Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules
- Review and process monthly expenses
About You:
- AAT qualified (or equivalent)
