Are you ready to step up into a Senior Audit Manager role with a brand-new team in a brand-new office, for a leading independent practice? A leading Firm of Accountants are opening an office in Liverpool and are looking for a Senior Audit Manager to join their expanding team, paying a salary of £70,000 - £85,000 depending upon experience and level. The role itself is 80% Audit and 20% accounts and tax work for those audit clients.
The Firm specialises in Owner Managed Business, Corporate clients, SMEs, and Charities and Academies. This position has arisen purely due to the growth and expansion of the audit department. With 11 Partners and over 90 staff, their growth plans will provide lots of opportunity to get to Director and/or Partner level for the right people.

To be successful as a Senior Audit Manager you will:
- Be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Proven experience in managing a wide portfolio of concurrent projects and project teams in a project management framework.
- Excellent working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements.
- Experience of developing staff
Your responsibilities as a Senior Audit Manager will include:
- Management of budgets, fees targets, WIP and debtors
- Develop, retain and motivate junior members of staff and assist in the management of the team on a day-to-day basis
- Reporting to a partner you will handle the development of the team, attraction of new talent, delivering/overview of technical work, client stakeholder management and ensure all the correct processes and procedures are followed.
- Reviewing statutory year-end accounts
- Business development
