Job Description
A leading independant North West Accountancy Firm are looking for an Audit Manager to join their growing team in Manchester, paying a salary of £55,000 – £65,000 dependant upon experience.
As a well-established audit manager, you will lead and deliver audit assignments across a varied client portfolio. This firm specialises across varying sectors that includes public sector entities (e.g. NFPs, education), SMEs, and financial services (e.g. fund managers, brokers, insurance), giving you the ultimate flexibility to either specialise or develop a diverse portfolio of clients.
Audit Manager Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and execute audit assignments.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.

Mentor and lead audit teams, supporting their technical development.

Maintain excellent technical standards, ensuring full compliance with auditing standards.

Audit Manager Essential Requirements

3+ years' audit experience-whether in public sector (NFPs, education), SME, OMB sectors, or financial services (investment funds, brokers, insurance).

Strong audit technical skills and ability to manage teams and deliver high-quality output.
