Finance Business Partner (12-Month FTC) – Up to £65k – Home-Based with monthly travel to sites across the UK. We are recruiting for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a thriving FMCG business based in Sefton on a 12-month fixed-term contract . This role offers the flexibility of home-based working , with travel to site twice a month to collaborate with the wider team. If you have a background in costing within the FMCG sector and are passionate about driving business performance through insightful financial analysis, we’d love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Cost Analysis and Reporting : Develop and maintain accurate product costing models, providing insights into cost drivers and recommending opportunities for cost efficiency. Business Partnering : Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights that influence decision-making and enhance profitability. Budgeting and Forecasting : Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts for manufacturing and supply chain activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Variance Analysis : Analyze variances between actual and standard costs, preparing detailed reports with actionable recommendations. Performance Monitoring : Work closely with department heads to monitor KPIs, track financial performance, and drive accountability across the business. Continuous Improvement : Support initiatives aimed at streamlining processes and improving financial controls within the costing and reporting frameworks. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or Cost Accountant role within the FMCG sector . Strong understanding of product costing, manufacturing processes, and supply chain dynamics. Excellent communication and influencing skills to effectively partner with non-finance stakeholders. Highly proficient in financial analysis tools, Excel, and ERP systems. ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent). Benefits Competitive salary up to £60,000.
