Commercial Finance Manager .
This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified accountant with 3-5 years' post-qualification experience who has developed strong commercial analysis and business partnering experience and is now looking for a role where they can have genuine influence.
You will work closely with
Commercial, Sales and Operations , providing financial insight and challenge needed to improve performance, protect margins and support future investment decisions.
Reporting into a commercially focused CFO, you'll have the opportunity to move beyond traditional reporting and become a key finance partner to the wider business.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted finance partner to
Commercial, Sales and Operations , providing insight, challenge and recommendations.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes.
- Deliver meaningful variance analysis , identifying key commercial drivers.
- Build and maintain financial models to support investment decisions, scenario planning and business cases.
- Monitor
KPIs, margins and commercial performance , highlighting risks, opportunities and areas requiring action.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify and deliver margin improvement and cost optimisation opportunities.
- Support strategic decision-making, translating financial information into clear, commercially focused recommendations.
Skills Required
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
- Proven experience in a commercial finance / business partnering .
- The confidence to influence, challenge and constructively push back with senior non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness and an ability to understand the operational drivers behind financial performance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear commercial insight.
- Strong experience across budgeting, forecasting, modelling and performance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems and large data sets.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach and the credibility to operate with senior stakeholders
