Accountable Recruitment is partnering with a well‑established manufacturing organisation seeking to appoint a Commercial Assistant to join their commercial team, based in Cheshire.

  • Maintain and update pricing models, including cost and FX adjustments.
  • Support the preparation and distribution of customer price lists.
  • Carry out pricing validation, ASP checks and price/volume analysis.
  • Assist with costing requests and blend cost calculations.
  • Produce regular commercial reports, including daily sales reporting and performance analysis.
  • Analyse commercial data using Excel to support business decision‑making.
  • Monitor market pricing information and maintain costing sheets.
  • Assist with margin tracking and profitability analysis.
  • Manage incoming commercial queries and support commercial administration activities.
  • Update internal systems, trackers and reporting tools.
  • Maintain accurate records relating to pricing changes, trials and commercial activities.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from the wider commercial team.
  • Ideal Experience
  • Previous experience within a commercial, analytical, administrative or business support role.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with data.
  • Competent across the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive, positive and team‑orientated approach.
  • Understanding of commercial principles and profitability management would be advantageous.
  • Experience using Share Point would be beneficial.
