Principal Consultant – Public Practice Recruitment

An established and respected Firm of Accountants with an office in Widnes are looking for a Private Client Tax Manager paying a salary of £45,000 – £55,000 depending upon experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role, where you will oversee a divers client portfolio that will inlcude sole traders, Directors and individuals.

  • Managing a diverse personal tax portfolio from initial onboarding through to final review
  • Reviewing self-assessment tax returns prepared by junior staff
  • Leading on complex tax queries, capital gains calculations, inheritance tax, and trusts
  • Overseeing P11D and benefit-in-kind compliance where relevant
  • Managing and mentoring junior members of the team, including appraisals and training
  • ATT and/or CTA qualified, or QBE with strong technical background and experience
  • Previous experience managing a personal tax portfolio
  • Excellent knowledge of legislation, planning and compliance
  • Minimum of 5 years\’ experience working within a personal tax role within Practice
