This role is ideal for a first-time mover from audit who wants to broaden their experience, gain commercial exposure, and play a key role within a dynamic Group Finance function.

The Opportunity

Joining a high-performing finance team, you'll take ownership of the month-end close process at group level, ensuring robust financial reporting aligned to FRS 102, while also gaining exposure to senior stakeholders and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the group month-end close, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Review accounting entries to ensure compliance with FRS 102 and best practice
  • Act as a key contact for external audit, supporting queries and requests
  • Produce and present variance analysis across weekly and monthly reporting
  • Partner with commercial teams to understand and reduce reporting differences
  • Identify risks and opportunities within financial performance
  • Own the balance sheet reconciliation process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
