Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a growing, UK based, Engineering business who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their finance team based near Helsby. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced CIMA / ACCA studier who is at least half way through their exams or a qualified accountant looking for an opportunity to join an exciting and successful business with ambitious growth plans.
Office based 5 hour week
Job Duties:
- Production of monthly management accounts for various businesses including detailed variance analysis and commentary on financial and operational performance of the business
- Supporting the Year-end and the Audit process for the various Group companies
- Supporting the finance team in the submission of financial models to the banks
- Invoice processing on sales and purchase ledgers
- VAT returns submissions and dealing with HMRC queries
- Bank reconciliations and cashflow forecasting
- Supporting the team in annual budgeting and P & L forecasting process
- Communication with suppliers, customers, lenders, and key stakeholders
Ideal experience:
- ACCA / CIMA part qualified or qualified
- Good team player
- Query solving/problem resolution skills
- Strong communication skills both with peers and senior management
- Flexibility
- Experience of Sage Line 50
- Advanced Excel user
