We’re working with a high‑growth business—part of a larger, well‑established group—that is seeking an ambitious Management Accountant to join its expanding finance team. The Role

This hands‑on position offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to work closely with senior finance leaders. You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting operational teams, and helping to drive better business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare weekly and monthly management accounts with a high level of accuracy.
  • Produce monthly journals and support balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with payroll‑related reporting, including accruals and key statutory elements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to efficiency projects.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and wider finance initiatives.
  • Manage inter‑company reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and recharges.
  • Assist with audit requirements and year‑end processes.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior finance team members.

About You

  • Newly or nearly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of core finance principles with an interest in management accounting.
  • Confident communicator who can explain financial information clearly.
  • Strong Excel and systems skills.
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable working to deadlines.
  • Motivated to develop and progress within a growing business.
