  • Job Duties
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring reporting deadlines are met.
  • Undertake commercial analysis and support effective balance sheet management.
  • Produce, interpret and analyse financial reports, providing meaningful commentary and recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Monitor asset and operational trends, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations and performance review packs.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Review operational performance and work alongside management teams to implement improvement plans.
  • Act as a key link between operational teams and support functions across the business.
  • Analyse KPIs and financial information to drive continuous improvement and performance.
  • Support half-year and year-end audit processes.
  • Undertake ad hoc reporting, analysis and project work as required.
  • Provide support across the wider finance team.

Who will I report into?

  • Senior Finance Manager.

When will interviews be taking place?

  • Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis, with applications being reviewed as they are received.
  • Ideal Experience
  • Studying towards ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Previous experience within a finance, accounts or assistant management accounting position.
  • Strong analytical and commercial awareness.
  • Experience preparing financial reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems.
  • Experience using ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work to strict deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
