Financial Controller – Maternity Cover Location: North West (Hybrid – in Office 1 day/week) Contract: Fixed-Term Maternity Cover (15-18 Months) About Us: A leading and innovative UK-based organisation is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our Finance Team. Job Summary: This role focuses on managing statutory financial reporting, internal controls, and audits while overseeing financial compliance and supporting the charity\’s long-term goals. Key Responsibilities: Oversee compliance with financial regulations and standards, acting as the technical finance lead. Lead the group\’s statutory accounts preparation and manage the external audit process. Ensure balance sheet integrity and oversee monthly balance sheet and cash flow reporting. Manage financial integrations arising from Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). Oversee submissions to HMRC Lead the production of internal management accounts, working closely with Finance Business Partners. Coach, develop, and manage team members to meet performance and professional development goals. Ideal Candidate: ACA/ACCA Qualified (Essential). Significant experience in financial management, audit, and statutory reporting. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
