Our client is a well-established business who are looking for a new Senior Bookkeeper due to retirement of a long time member of staff. Taking on sole responsibility for all the accounts for the business, the successful candidate will be responsible for duties such as: * Sales and purchase ledger * Banking, bank reconciliation * VAT returns * Monthly management accounts / reporting * Payroll duties for circa 60 staff on a monthly basis, including pensions administration etc * Preparation of books to pass on to Accountants at year end * Use of Sage software Ideally, you will have experience working within a similar role. The company uses Sage, so previous experience of this would be highly beneficial. The company are ideally hoping for someone to work 20 hours per week, you will need to be in the office for circa 3-4 hours per week, but the rest of the work can be done from home
