55,000 – 65,000 per annumWaterlooville, HampshireWe're working on the behalf of a highly successful construction company who are seeking a new Financial Accountant to join their team.
Working closely with the Director and the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for a variety of duties for multiple entities, such as: Recording financial transactionProvision of timely, accurate and useful financial informationPreparing budgets and monitoringPreparation & submission VAT, CIS etcMaintaining staff payrollPreparing cash forecast and models using spreadsheetsProduce bank reconciliation statementsMaintain and optimise insurance policiesMaintaining asset registerEnsuring efficiency of accounting policies and procedures to facilitate smooth running of the accounts departmentOverseeing junior members of staff, ensuring accuracy in work and answering queriesYou will need to be a highly motivated, hands on Accountant, preferably qualified to CIMA or ACCA / ACA level, but potentially could consider those QBE / Part Qual. Any experience within a construction background would be useful. Experience of Sage and Quickbooks, as well as Excel, would be ideal.
