Full or Part-time Client Bookkeeper in Southampton

Our client is an established, friendly firm of Accountants who are looking for a new client Bookkeeper to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including: Bookkeeping duties for a varied portfolio of clients Bank and credit card reconciliations Preparation of VAT returns Answering client queries regarding bookkeeping Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts Use of Xero & Sage software Opportunity to get involved in accounts preparation / more senior accounts duties if desired You will need strong double-entry bookkeeping experience, and ideally be a confident Xero & Sage user, however training can be given on this. Previous experience working within a firm of Accountants or bookkeeping bureau would be highly beneficial. The firm are open to considering both full or part-time candidates, and can consider circa 2 days a week all the way up to full-time, hours can be spread however suits you.
