A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to assist in a variety of finance & accounting duties for a friendly company. You will be responsible for a range of duties including:

  • Supporting sales and purchase ledger, credit control etc
  • Processing expenses / credit card statements
  • Processing bank reconciliations and month end reporting
  • Preparation and posting monthly accruals, prepayments, etc
  • Monitoring cashflow
  • Assisting Managers with streamlining and implementing financial procedures and processes, ensuring maximum efficiency within the finance department
  • Assisting with VAT submissions and associated queries

You will need strong previous experience working within Finance for this role, and AAT qualification or similar would be highly beneficial, however the company can consider those qualified by experience. The company are ideally looking for someone with Advanced Excel skills, and previous use of SAP would also be highly beneficial.
