We're working on behalf of a fantastic company looking for a new Assistant Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will be assisting the Finance Manager in a variety of duties including:
- Requesting bank and credit card receipts, chasing as needed and reconciling statements
- Preparing supplier payment runs
- Preparing and sending remittance advice
- Analysing supplier invoice data, processing invoices and obtaining approvals
- Raising sales invoices, chasing customers for payment as needed
- Downloading data from online marketplaces, analysing data and inputting into sales / purchase invoices
You will need a good attention to detail and be confident dealing with data from multiple sources. You will be working with multiple currencies, so any previous experience of this would be beneficial, as would working with online sales platforms. You will need to be a confident user of Xero and Excel and be comfortable doing reconciliations.
The company are happy to consider part-time or full-time hours, circa 25 hours per week and upwards. They are flexible about how these hours are taken within their core hours, Mon-Fri. This role is entirely remote, however the company would like someone within one hour's commute to Portchester, for occasional meetings (e.g. quarterly).
