We\’re currently working on the behalf of an established firm of Accountants, seeking a new Accounts Assistant to join their team. You will be responsible for:
- Client bookkeeping using Xero, Sage, etc
- End to end client payroll on a weekly, monthly and fortnightly basis including entering timesheets, holiday calculations, SMP, SSP, bonus / commission calculations, statutory deductions etc
- Assisting with the preparation of year end accounts for a variety of sole traders and limited companies
- Answering client queries
Ideally, you will have previous experience working within a firm of Accountants or similar and have studied AAT Level 2 or 3.
