Job Description

As Sous Chef, you will report to the Head Chef, ensuring seamless kitchen operations, integrating with the front of house team to ensure smooth service. You will deputise in the absence of the Head Chef. Straight shifts with flexibility to cover the business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that every dish is prepared and executed to the highest standards.
  • Food ordering to ensure full menu availability and minimum wastage.
  • Daily due diligence with HACCP procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to exceed our external audits.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high food standards.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 or 3 Food Safety certification.
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP in a busy kitchen environment, ideally hotel based.
  • Strong culinary skills and a passion for quality.
  • Leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to guide a small kitchen team.
